Every once in a week or day we heard or watch about “Save energy” and we discuss it about with our friends and family. After two-three days we forget about it and get busy with our daily lives. That’s the cycle of most of the people of the planet. Renewable energy sources are the one of the great options to save energy.

There are many social activists and NGO are working at their hardest level but why it still not enough. What else they can do to get to the people? Well, there is no point of go ahead of ourselves. We, people need to change if we need change in the world. One thing that needs saving is energy. And you know it. Awareness need to be created for Save energy like putting up posters on save energy, Spreading motivational videos on social media, campaign regarding Save energy etc.

Let’s first talk about “ENERGY”. Energy is nothing but an ability to do work. And I think I don’t have to explain you what is Save Energy. Half of the world is depending upon fossil fuel to get the energy require to run their respective fields. Just look around you, you can see many things that runs with electricity, Petrol, Diesel, Solar, water, etc. They all are a source of energy.

There are mainly two types of Energy Sources as we know Renewable energy sources, that can be replenished once they got used and another is now renewable energy sources which can’t be replenished or get more time to replenished once it got used. Petrol, diesel, oil, coal, etc. are non-renewable energy sources. They are already near their capacity so I think they need saving to save Energy.

Ways to Save Energy using Renewable energy sources

Here we will talk about renewable energy sources. Like Solar energy, Wind energy, Water energy, Ocean energy, biomass energy, etc.  These all are energy sources that can be reusable time to time. Sun is the greatest energy sources. Many countries are agreed for Solar rooftop project. India has started international solar alliance to join strength of all country in solar field. Biomass energy is created by using organic waste like waste of plant or food etc. Hydro power plant used water as an energy source. Save energy is not an option it is necessity.

Solar energy is gaining fame as it is available easily. Use of solar energy is not a new but now it has become very famous. Government also provide subsidy up to 40%. That is Hugh. Soar energy using PV cell is quite the tech that are famous nowadays. PV cell is acronym of “Photo Voltaic” in which photo means “Produced by light” and Voltaic means “Electricity produced by Chemical reaction”.  This PV cells are usually made from silicon Semiconductors. Solar rooftop project is using solar panel made from PV cells to generate electricity. And with solar rooftop you can make your electricity bill ZERO. Solar water heater, solar water pump, solar cooker, etc. are other products that are using solar energy as an input.

Hydro power plants are used from century in the world. Contribution of hydropower plant is next to Coal powered power plant which is first. Nowadays world has taken decision to make most the use of water. Rain water harvesting is also a big trending news of the year. Many societies and apartments were using this technique to save or preserve the rai water in tank. It is Awesome idea. Drip irrigation is a modest idea of save water. Water saved is equal to life saved. Water power plant can be said as most reliable, most efficient and economical. But now as the usage of electricity is increased big investment has to made for it but output of electricity is not much increased as per demand. Saving water or preserving water is also a blooming problem that world is facing now apart from Save energy.

Wind energy is one of the most promising and clean energy sources. It was most underrated due to its high capital cost but recently there are many technologies that built high capacity turbine which increase energy capacity of wind turbine up to the maximum. As fossil fuels-based power plant threats life of Human beings and animals, wind energy-based power plant does not proceed in that way. It is totally clean. Although there are many advantages of using wind energy there are also several disadvantages of wind energy. Wind does not blow at constant speed. It has high capital cost. Also, it needs to plant in distance area from residential area due to noise. Which again need more transport expense.

Geothermal energy is not that much obvious to everyone. Geothermal energy is energy produced in the earth not on surface. Earth core is much heated and that heat is directly supplied to power plants to use. It is bit costly and not much in use. But it is a good alternative. Biomass is in use by centuries. Food waste and animal dung etc. are used to produce bio gas. And that gas can be used in home cooking or in power plant.

There are many ways to save energy if we want to save it. The world is in need to save energy. Many countries do not even have access to energy. Just take water as an example. Many parts of countries do not have clean water to drink. Many small villages never ever seen the electricity. Fossil fuels are getting dried. Many problems are coming near future soon. We have to get ready for it. Otherwise problems are already to phase us. Let’s join hands and give our insights and helps to “Save Energy”.
